Talk about a doggone good time! ? The attraction combines visual screens and 64 pet animatronics so there are pets everywhere you look. The ride vehicles are designed to look like boxes (like the kind you might find a newly adoptable pet inside) that you board inside Katie’s apartment building from the film. But antics happen along the way to set you off on a huge detour. The basis of the the attraction is that guests are “puppies” trying to make it to an adoption event in New York City. Originally, The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash was set to debut in 2020 to guests over in Universal Hollywood. Once the attraction opens this summer, we’ll take you with us to experience it for the very first time! Universal Hollywood The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash Universal has also even provided a trailer for what the ride-through of the attraction will be like as a sneak peek that we are HYPED to see in person. The ride has begun testing as we’ve seen the ride vehicles speed around the track and raptor animatronics arrive inside the enclosures. The high-speed attraction is set to debut this summer with raptors, a track that curves all the way around Universal’s Islands of Adventure, and some of the highest peaks that overlook the entire park.
